I spend a lot of time reflecting on my life and the influences that have helped create who I am. I'm looking for someone who knows who they are...or is at least trying to find out.

I'd love to find a sweet goth/punk girl to chill with. Someone who's not afraid to dress up and go out and be weird/silly with. I have to dress conservatively at work but I'd be happier wearing a kilt and combat boots.

I'm looking for passion. I want to rage at the world and bring thunder to the skies, cruising on a bolt of lightning. Crack the foundations of normality and bring mirth to the masses.

I'm a romantic idealist-realist. I believe in true love followed by a dose of reality.

I also believe in honesty at all costs. I despise dishonest people and liars. Life is too short to lie to yourself. Be who you are. The people that I'm going to get along with best are the ones that tell it the way it is...good or bad.

I believe that when you give someone your word, you should honor it.

I may not believe in what you say, but I will defend your right to say it until the very end.

I love life. I believe that there is beauty everywhere.

I'm sappy.

I'm a good friend. I surround myself with kind & wonderful people who I love dearly. My friends and my family are the most valuable things in the world to me.

I love thinking about things. I really love talking to people about what's going on in the world and getting into deep conversations.

I'm an Extreme extrovert around groups of people but I retreat into my head when I'm with a few friends. That's when I'm the most reflective and introspective about everything. If you think we'd get along, just know that I can't stand shallow people...if you can't carry a conversation then I'm not for you.

I love silliness and spontaneity.

I love sex and love making,(and there is a difference). I think its a natural, healthy expression of ourselves. I really want to meet someone who is very comfortable with their sexuality and who is passionate.

I love animals. I could never be with anyone who mistreated one. And I would actively stop someone who was.

I'm a Big believer in respecting others and I very much appreciate people with manners. I don't have time for rude or disrespectful people.

I hate racism. I hate sexism. I dislike sterotypes.

I'm a firm believer in women's rights over her own body, (ie. I'm pro-choice).

I'm very grounded and stable despite the chaos in my life. I'm the person people turn to for a calming presence in the storm.

I graduated with a dual degree from Cornell University...Psychology and Theater. I'm particularly interested in Social psychology. For my theater major I focused on Modern Dance. I was a male belly dancer for years, (amateur but lots of my friends were belly dancers and belly dancer instructors). Since then I've gotten sedentary and now I'm trying to get back into things.

As a hobby I do medieval reenactments as part of the Society for Creative Anachronism ...I've been playing for the last 15 years or so. This means that I like to put on real armor and hit my friends in the head. I know it sounds weird but its really very fun. There's a festival every year called Pennsic where about 10,000 of us get together for two weeks and have a great time partying, camping and laughing.

I also have a regular weekly poker game that I've been playing for the last 15 years, even before it became popular. I'm not a big gambler but I do like gaming.

I've always wanted to do the following...get a black belt in a martial art, be able to swing fire ala poi, play the digiridoo, get my Masters degree, learn to throw a knife...and I'm going to do them all some day.
